Users

Administrators must create a User Account for everyone who is to have access to the Merlin system:

You need to enter your User Name and Password to enter this screen, which is accessible only to Administrators.

User is the user's real name.  Please note, the default Administrator account cannot be renamed.

User Name is the name with which the User will log on.

Password is, of course,  what it says.  The Password characters are displayed as asterisks.  However, if you select a User from the Users list, and hold the mouse pointer over the Password field, the Password itself will display briefly in a yellow box.

User Rights

Four levels are available: Administrator, Manager, User, and Viewer.

These are defined on the left-hand part of the screen.

Select View

The buttons here allow you Show All Users, or narrow the selection to any one of the four categories listed above.
